I experiment almost daily with different smoothie flavours and textures and this ultra creamy avocado smoothie is always a winner for its simplicity, creamy texture and sweetness. Many times I add a little more banana to make it denser and I top it with granola and raspberries for a nourishing, filling and healthy breakfast.
Alternatively you could make a delicious detox Buddha bowl and top it with my healthiest ever homemade granola.
Avocados provide a substantial amount of healthy fatty acids and are a naturally nutrient-dense food and contain nearly 20 vitamins and minerals. They improve digestion, fight against depression, promote a natural detoxification and have antimicrobial action (1).
They are awesome for skin, hair and nails and when combined with banana you get a super nutritious, creamy and delicious combo.

Yield: 2 servings
Time: 5 min
Ingredients
2 frozen bananas
1/2 avocado
1 handful spinach
1 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon chia/flax/hemp seeds (optional)
Directions
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth, scraping down the sides of your blender if needed. If you like it thicker add a bit more banana, and if it is too thick add a little bit more almond milk until you find the texture you like better.
By the way…
You can keep it for several hours in the fridge but I don’t quite like this one after a couple of hours because it becomes a little darker and I don’t find the flavor as nice as when is just served.
You can add protein powder, other seeds, even almonds or nuts as well.
