Gluten-free, nut-free, refined sugar-free, vegan
Yield: 2 servings
Time: 5 min
Ingredients
2 cups (500 ml) water
1 apple
1 orange
2 carrots
1 small chunk of ginger (small or slightly larger if you like a stronger ginger flavor)
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cinnamon
The juice of half a lemon
5 dates or 2 tsp of maple syrup (optional, to sweeten it)
Ice cubes (optional)
Directions
Place all the ingredients in the blender, and blend until everything is well integrated and without lumps.
You can put some ice in the blender or add it directly to a glass before serving if you would like the juice to be colder, but you can also take it at room temperature.
By the way…
I love to drink this juice very cold, but if you have a sore throat try warming it up to feel the shooting effect immediately.
You can also double the amount and keep it refrigerated to drink during the day.
Another drink I love taking when I am not feeling well is my 5 min golden milk, also with turmeric and ginger 🙂
