I love preparing this healthy chocolate broccoli dessert and surprise my guests with it! Is just so funny the face they put when I tell them it has broccoli in it!
Broccoli is seriously nutritious (1), high in vitamins, bioactive compounds and antioxidants. You should try to add it as many times as you can to your diet. I sneak it in smoothies, creams, soups, stir fries like my broccoli quinoa stir fry
Let’s go!
Gluten-free, Nut-free, Refined-sugar free, Vegan
Yield: 2 bowls
Time: 5 min
Ingredients
2 ripe frozen bananas
1/2 cup frozen broccoli
1/2 cup frozen mango
1 cup (250 ml) milk
2 Tbsp (20 gr) cacao powder
1 Tbsp (15 ml) vanilla
2 Tbsp (30 ml) maple syrup
Directions
1. Add al the ingredients to your blender or food processor and blend until you get a creamy texture. To make it easier for the blender add in first the milk and then the rest.
2. Add more dark chocolate on top!
By the way…
Although I prefer to eat it fresh, you can also keep it in the fridge and take it later but I don’t recommend you to freeze it as it would probably alter the texture of the cream.
