I know that green smoothies look everything but yummy, especially in the morning… But I guarantee you that this detox smoothie bowl taste really really sweet and delicious. If it wasn’t for the colour you would not even realise it has spinach in it.
The avocado makes it totally creamy and soft and is packed with multiple nutrients, healthy fats and fiber (1). If you like avocado in smoothies check out my ultra creamy avocado smoothie, very similar to this one but with subtle differences 🙂

Yield: 2 bowls
Time: 5 min
Ingredients
1/2 ripe avocado
2 frozen bananas
1 apple
3 large handfuls spinach
1-1/2 cups vegetable milk
Toppings
Kiwi
Shredded coconut
Pomegranate
Blueberries
Hemp and chia seeds
Directions
1. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until you get a creamy texture. Start with just half a cup of milk and add progressively in case you want a thinner consistency.
2. Add your favorite toppings and serve immediately
By the way…
You can play with the toppings and add anything you prefer. I like to make this one only with fruit and veggies as this is my lighter detox version, so I keep it nut, granola or chocolate free.
