Berries and yogurt parfait

It is also perfect for a grab and go breakfast/ snack when you are in a hurry and you can of course make it ahead and just keep it in your fridge for a couple of days.

This berries and yogurt parfait is so simple to do, and perfect for a healthy homemade dessert or breakfast. We always have vegan yogurt in our fridge so I basically combine it with one of my favourite sauces (stewed berries) and granola for some yummy crunch.

Unlike the store-bought parfaits, that contain a lot of sugar and unnecessary additives, this one is naturally sweetened and made with healthy and nutritious ingredients. If you make your granola yourself, which I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND, you will have always handy a great and wholesome snack for when you crave something sweet.

Let’s go!

Gluten-free, Vegan, refined sugar-free, Nut-free
Yield: 2 Servings
Time: 10 min (if granola is already done)

Ingredients
½ cup (60 gr) of my favorite granola
1 cup (220 ml) vegetable yogurt
Stewed berries sauce
2 tsp maple syrup (optional)

Toppings
Pomegranate
More granola
Fresh or frozen fruits

Directions
Distribute the granola in 2 glass cups, then the yogurt of your choice ( I love the coconut or vanilla one) add the red fruit sauce warm (or cold if you prefer to make ahead) and top with more granola, almonds, berries and pomegranate.

By the way…
The toppings are just suggestions, but you can experiment with any other fruit, nuts or seeds. Let us know which ones are your favorites 🙂
